The standard safety features available in Honda insight. Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS)
: The anti-lock braking system (ABS) featured on
the Honda Insight utilizes a special modulator to pulse the brakes
to help prevent wheel lockup. This helps the driver retain steering
control when braking hard. Dual Front Airbags (SRS): In the event of a moderate-to-severe frontal impact, the dual front airbags inflate and deflate in a fraction of a second and are designed to help prevent serious head and upper-body injuries. Front and Rear Crush Zones : The front and rear crush zones provide driver and passenger protection in moderate-to-severe full-frontal and offset-frontal impacts. Seat Belts with Pretensioners: Front 3-point seat belts with an automatic tensioning system ride across the lap and chest to help restrain occupants during sudden stops or impact. Other safety features available are Immobilizer theft-deterrent
system, dual side-impact door beams. All these features are standard
in both Honda Insight manual , and also Honda Insight Continuous
Variable Transmission. |
